Schetzsle Marketing Corporation
Located right on Highway 12, at Veteran, in East Central Alberta, Schetzsle Marketing Corp. is a livestock marketing facility that handles 80-90 thousand head of cattle in a given year. Veteran is located in the center of ranch country, which makes it a perfect location for an auction market.

Schetzsle Marketing Corp. was born from Schetzsle Livestock Inc., which was formed by Terry and Linda Schetzsle, on July 1, 1989. Terry and Linda bought the old Veteran Auction Mart, then proceeded ahead with major reconstruction and expansion, culminating with the opening of a brand new building in 1991. In July 2000, Graham and Jen Schetzsle came aboard, with ownership in a new marketing company, thus Schetzsle Marketing Corp. came to be a reality. Terry and Linda still live in the Veteran area as well, and remain active in the business.

Schetzsle Marketing Corp. prides itself on customer satisfaction, humane care of all animals,
and quality service. Schetzsle Marketing Corp. enjoys very strong buyer support, with Alberta,
Saskatchewan, and US packers being represented on slaughter animals. Many Western Canada feedlots, Ontario feedlots, and some US feedlots have order buyers sitting ringside at Schetzsle Marketing Corp. on sale day. Regular sales at Schetzsle Marketing Corp. take place Mondays at 10 a.m., starting with slaughter cows and bulls, followed by feeder cattle. Calf sales typically run on Thursdays through October and the first two weeks of November, followed by a number of bred cow and heifer sales up until Christmas.
